Taoist self-massage and meditation

A seated meridian massage and meditative exercises (Neigong) to build up the energy centres (Dantiens). The art of sitting quietly and meditating brings us into our centre and supports mental focus. Sitting also involves stretching the leg muscles and hip region (Kua), which is very helpful for Tai Chi.

The form of the Original Yang Style

We teach the long form of the Original Yang Style. It is taught in 3 parts and takes about 30 minutes if performed correctly. It takes 2-3 years to learn this form and integrate it well into the body, depending on how much time you want to spend on your Tai Chi. The form is our main exercise tool and the prerequisite for learning the advanced levels.

The Tai Chi form combines self-defense martial arts movements with Taoist internal breathing. The deepening levels provide a profound insight into the Tai Chi principles which eventually transform movement, body and energy.
